Neil Bohne of Happy Valley Oregon is a local Woodworking Artist
providing amazing and unique pieces of useful Art. Born and raised in
Missoula Montana, Neil joined the military in 1998 which has brought
him to Portland Oregon serving with the Oregon Air National Guard full
time. Neil has deployed all around the world to include three tours to
Iraq and two tours to Afghanistan. He has always turned to a special
hobby of woodworking when at home.
Wood can produce some of the most amazing pieces of art which
is an all natural and a renewable resource. His Handturned
Razor Systems are made from very simple local cuts of wood to exotic
species from all around the world. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys
hiking, camping, fishing and finding natural shed deer and elk antlers
which he uses as a unique material in all his work. Neil makes many
other items to include turned Cigar Holders, Seam Rippers, ladies
makeup brushes and smart phone stylus's.
